Common SenseT and Perspective TherapiesT

Counseling and Psychotherapy are about the same, but psychotherapists have extra-special training that allows them to help better and faster. My philosophy is that common sense rules and that varying perspectives, when trained, will allow reason to prevail.

When healthy perspective is obtained, a person can be centered in "present time" and therefore be at optimal performance.  We believe that each person with whom I work knows what they need and with a little help from a good coach/teacher in training perspective, how to get it.  Our job is to help the person establish clear goals and to train them to gain the perspective that will allow success to occur.

The following are the questions you need to think about:

  • What do you want?
  • When do you want it?
  • What will it look like, sound like and feel like when you get what you want?
  • What else/other things in your life will change when you get what you want?
  • What resources from your past do you have which can be used to get what you want?

  • or
  • What resources do you need training in to get what you want?
  • What are the best resources which will get you what you want in the shortest amount of time?

  • What is the first step you must take to start your journey toward getting  what you want?.
